The song has three parts: ‘Holy Wars’, then a beautifully executed solo by Friedman leads into the ‘Punishment Due’ part, and then eventually Mustaine’s epic solo leads back into ‘Holy Wars’ as the song finishes strong in thrash bombarding bliss. Mustaine unleashes probably his greatest solo of all time as the song builds to an epic head-banging climax.
